Most, if not all, fans are aware that the implosion of his failed marriage to Angelina Jolie and a nasty custody battle over their children has dominated his life in recent times. An unnamed source told the entertainment news outlet that the past six years “have been incredibly draining” for Brad Pitt.
Brad Pitt, who already quit smoking and became sober, “has become a lot more introspective, and he knows he only has a certain amount of time left to focus on his passions,” which include his children, his art and his beloved Chateau Miraval in France. At the moment, the Ad Astra actor is suing Angelina Jolie for selling her stake in the company to a Russian oligarch.
Of Brad Pitt, the insider furthered:
“He thinks Angie’s trying to destroy everything he’s built there, and Brad wants to put all of his energy into saving it.”
In June, new legal documents claimed Angelina Jolie “sought to inflict harm” on Brad Pitt when she sold her stake in their co-owned vineyard to a Russian oligarch. The Allied actor said her decision to sell her share to a Russian oligarch forced him into partnership with “a stranger with poisonous associations and intentions.”

Angelina Jolie has not yet publicly commented. For starters, Brad Pitt and the Maleficent actress purchased a controlling interest in Chateau Miraval SA in 2008. They got married there six years later.
Brad Pitt claims he and Angelina Jolie agreed not to sell their stakes in the venue without the permission of the other. In legal documents obtained by PA news agency, per BBC, it is alleged that the By the Sea actress sold her share to a Luxembourg-based spirits manufacturer controlled by Russian oligarch Yuri Shefler, without the World War Z star’s knowledge.
