Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is releasing a new chapter of its manga series this week, continuing the epic conflict between the ninjas of the Hidden Leaf Village and the Kara Organization that's been assembled by the villainous Code following the death of Jigen, as well as the death of Kurama, the Nine-Tailed Fox. Chapter 69 will see Eida joining the fray following Code's infiltration of Konoha, and the return of a reprogrammed Delta on the side of the protagonists. Now, fans are expecting more surprises coming in the new chapter, and we already have a teaser from Shueisha.
In a new promo for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 69, which is set to release on April 20, the story details tease how the conflict against the Kara Organization will escalate in Konoha:
"Konoha is under threat again! Code – A remnant of Kara who possesses amazing combat abilities. In order to take revenge on Konoha, who once had Isshiki in their hands, Code attacks Amado with the aim of lifting the restriction on his true power. In order to fulfill their own goals, Kara threatens to attack the Hidden Leaf Village."
In addition to this info dump, the promo also teases Eida's presence:
"Eida – with the power of Senrigan, she has the ability to be aware of everything. Eida finally reveals herself to make contact with Kawaki, who is someone she directs her affections towards. How will Boruto and others react to this critical situation in Konoha?"
The new promo released in Japan also gives us a first look at the panels that will feature Konoha's epic battle vs. Code and Eida of the Kara Organization:
Last month's chapter of Boruto (Chapter 68) concluded with Eida teleporting into Amado's lab in Konoha via Code's claw mark, and Amado looks shocked. His reaction fuels the theory that she could be his daughter, and the theory that Amado could be the main villain of this arc.
The latest chapter will surely excite fans of this popular shonen series. We might see Eida battle the reprogrammed Delta soon, and it's likely that we will see her use her abilities in order to accomplish Code's mission to force Amado to remove his Limiters.
