Boruto Chapter 69

Update:Now that the new chapter of Boruto is out, and it shows the power of Eida's powerful ability. You can read more details below:

Eida joins the fray, and Amado and Shikimary look as shocked to see her. Eida tells Amado that he has the same old stupid reactions, and Shikimaru is thinking that Amado's terror is beyond abnormal.

Delta or "Bronco" attacks Eida, and the clairvoyant android easily dodges, and Delta wonders how she's able to evade her attack.

Eida touches her leg, and she says, "This leg too". Wood emerges out of Delta's body, and Shikimaru is wondering what Delta is doing. Delta is wondering too. Shikimaru is wondering what kind of being Eida is, and he calls Ino, telling her that they need backup.

Meanwhile, Sasuke asks for Boruto's forgiveness for not being there while Momoshiki was taking over his body. Boruto asks if Sasuke heard that it was Kawaki who killed him, and Sasuke says that only a select few knows. Boruto says that he was the one who asked Kawaki to kill him. Sasuke says that the one who is despised killed the Hokage's son, and that it can't be helped that additional bias is heaped on.

Boruto says that's just wrong since he's alive and fine. He says that they acknowledge each other as brothers. He says that Kawaki understood his resolve, and Sasuke looks pensieve as he says, "Brothers, huh".

Boruto smiles and tries to return the headband to Sasuke, and thanks him that it helped him firm his resolve. Sasuke says that since it's helpful, Boruto should keep it because it's a gift. Boruto asks if he's sure about that since it's a memento between his father and Sasuke.

Sasuke tells Boruto to hold it, and that he will treasure it for the rest of his life. Boruto thanks him again. Sasuke says that he might be the one who will have to show his resolve next.

Sarada and Mitsuki are wondering what Boruto and Sasuke are talking about. Mitsuki says that if things got wrong, Boruto would be dead, and he thinks Sasuke feels guilty as his teacher. It appears that Mitsuki is speaking Sasuke's mind, saying that supposing that someone kills Boruto, he wouldn't know what he would do to that person. He says he certainly does, and the thought that Boruto couldn've died gives him the chills. Sarada wonders what Mitsuki is talking about, and Mitsuki apologizes because that came out sounding disturbed.

Sarada says that she starts to feel angrier and angrier, and that she's shocked over everything that's happened to Boruto. She asks if they're really just so undependable, and says that she wants to be able to help more. Mitsuki asks if she likes Boruto, and Sarada nervously says, "Wha?".

Sarada says that whether she does or doesn't, it has nothing to do with what they're talking about. Mitsuki says he wonders if her true feelings are hard to tell, then says that he guesses that it doesn't matter. She says that Sasuke is her father first, even more than Boruto's teacher.

Mitsuki says that they both have to get stronger, and they need to have as much power and resolve in order to face the mighty Ohtsutsuki. Sarada says that's a no-brainer or else she won't be fit to be a Hokage, otherwise.

Kawaki wakes up in the hospital bed, and Naruto greets him, telling him that he slept well. Naruto says that this reminds him of the first time they met. Kawaki asks if he came to tell him about stupid old memories, and Naruto asks Sumire to give them a minute, and she apologizes and tries to exit, but before she could leave, Kawaki asks if Naruto is going to condemn him for killing Boruto.

Sumire looks surprised to hear that, and Naruto tells Kawaki to relax because Boruto is fine, and Kawaki looks surprised. Naruto explains that Boruto's Karma power saved him, and to make the long story short, he's alive.

Sumire is wondering about what she heard. Naruto says that if Kawaki was not there, they could've all died, so he's grateful. Naruto tells Kawaki that, as he said before, he belongs in Konoha, nowhere else. The Hokage says that everyone in Konoha is family to him.

Suddenly, someone calls Naruto's name telepathically, and he looks worried. Sasuke also hears that there's an enemy attack in Lab 3. Sasuke says that the enemy is there, and tells Boruto that they should go. Sumire asks if Boruto is fine, and he says that he's fine as a fiddle.

Back to Lab 3: Shikimaru tries to use his shadow ability to paralyze Eida, but Eida just stares at him, and she says that there's no way that he could actually attack her, and wonders how he's able to do that, but soon realizes it's because the jutsu doesn't directly inflict harm.

Shikimaru Boruto

Eida says that Shikimaru's ability is amazing, and that this is the first time she's affected like this. Shikimaru looks worried, and is wondering what the heck she is. He feels like he's having a weird fever, and Delta is on the floor, looking shocked.

In his mind, Shikimaru asks Ino to link his mind to Amado's so they can communicate telpathically. He tells Amado not to blurt out anything no matter what, then asks what kind of ability are they stuck with, and how to counter it.

Amado says that to sum it all up: they're all now her captives, and Shikimaru asks what he means. She enchants them on an intinctual, unconscious level no matter their gender, even Delta, and that no one can escape her ability.

Delta looks enamored, saying she thinks Eida is so cute. Shikimaru asks how that's even possible. Shikimaru asks Amado if he's kidding, and how that's possible.

Amado mentions headache, vertigo fever, impaired judgement, stifferened muscles from extreme tension, different people get different symptoms, and that some simple types like Delta just become infatuated. Eida says that once they are enchanted by her ability, it will last until she dies, and that she can't control this power.

Amado tells him that Shikimaru could try but it would be futile to resist her.

Shikimaru is thinking that his shadow possession jutsu won't last longer. Eida tells him to just releax, and not push too hard. Eida says that his force of will is incredible, and that watching him makes her want to cheer him on instead.

Shikimaru is clenching a kunai, but his body won't move. Amado tells him that even if he wants to kill him in his head, his instinct will reject that thought. Amado tells him to quit fighting it or it will damage his mind.

Shikimaru is thinking that this is unbelievable, and that Naruto and Sasuke won't even stand a chance against her ability.

Code Boruto

Code appraoches Amado, and grabs him against the wall, asking him to comply, so he won't get harmed. Code uses a claw to pierce through Amado's shoulder blade, and Amado screams in pain.

Code asks if there's a lot of nerves converged there, and if it hurts. Shikimaru asks Eida what her motive is, and why she's helping Code.

Eida says that Code's motive is personal to him, and reveals that she likes Kawaki. Shikimaru looks puzzled. Eida says that she's simply getting assistance from Code on that matter

Shikimaru telepathically tells Ino that he changed his mind, and to change the lock release code for the lab's door now. He tells her that the enemy has a troublesome ability, and he doesn't want Naruto and the others to come in. Ino is surprised at his request, but he ells her to just do it.

Shikimaru tells Eida that he has a proposition for her: "Won't you come over to Konoha? I believe we can mutually aid each other, and afterward you can tell Kawaki how you feel or whatever else you want."

Eida looks thoughtful, and Code asks, "What?!" while Amado is still pinned against the wall.

The next chapter will most likely show Eida's internal conflict while Naruto, Boruto, Sasuke, and other ninjas of Konoha trying to get inside the lab. It's likely that we will see more of Eida's powers, and Code trying to get Eida to focus on their mission.
