Code has already made preparations to execute his plan to kidnap Amado so he can force him to release his "Limiter" so he can restore his full power. In the previous chapter of Boruto, Code couldn't compete with Kawaki at his current state, and he mentioned that he will have to release his "Limiter" and make Amado restore his True Power.

In the end of that chapter, we see a scene with Ada, who's leaning on a table, and Code is with her. Ada says that Amado is being sheltered and protected right in the center of Konoha, but there aren't any claw marks inside the village, so she wonders how he plans to get closer to him. Then we get to see a look at Shikimaru, suggesting that Code might have placed a Claw Mark inside him so he can infiltrate Konoha, and kidnap Amado.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 68

March 18 Update: Now that the latest Boruto manga chapter is out, here are major spoilers: The official title of the manga is Scar, and it begins with a scene back in Konoha, with Boruto explaining how he was resurrected by Momoshiki after Kawaki's devastating attack, while Amado and two others are listening.

Boruto explained that about 82% of Momoshiki's data had already finished extraction, but he used the remaining 18% to rebuild the destroyed parts of his body. Amado went on to say that if Boruto died, Momoshiki would lose his vessel and his soul would be extinguished.

Momoshiki may not be able to resurrect himself since he'll never regain he data, but Amado says that the problem of him taking over Boruto's consciousness from time-to-time is still a problem, and they still haven't found a solution to that.

Boruto says that he no longer needs that meds because he feels that he could channel Momoshiki's power now.

Meanwhile, in a hospital room, Kawaki is unconscious, and Shikimaru says that they need to confirm a few things with Amado first before letting him get close to Kawaki.

Shikimaru says that it's pointless to restrain Kawaki because he could just shrink himself with Sukuna-Hikona, and that it would be bad to antagonize him. However, he notes that Kawaki's wish is simple: He wants to keep Naruto safe.

Naruto says that he and Kawaki will have a nice talk when Kawaki wakes up.

Sasuke says he has intel and it concerns about Code's whereabouts. Sasuke says that Code is in one of Boro's secret cult facilities, a hidden structure in an area considered a taboo even by locals, on the edge of the Land of Snow.

When Shikimaru asks him if there are any conclusive evidence that Code is there, Sasuke says that there is a man named Bug, and he's Code's acquaintance.

Shikimaru says that he'll order a deployment, and asks if what Kawaki did to Boruto was true. Shikimaru says that even if the reason was to stop Momoshiki, he killed Boruto in front of him and Naruto.

Shikimaru says only a few people know about it, and that they're still deciding how to move forward. Sasuke looks pensive, and asks where Boruto is, and Shikimaru says that Boruto should be with his friends, including Sarada .

Meanwhile, in the secret Kara organization hideout, Ada is able to get information about how Boruto was able to survive. She tells Code that he should be thankful that his precious Ten Tails sacrifice is still alive, explaining that he was revived using Momoshiki's Karma.

Ada explains that since it seems that the rest of the Karma's compressed data was extracted, Boruto is fully Ohtsutsuki now. Ada says that somehow Boruto and Momoshiki shared an exchange that she can't directly see with her Senrigan Clairvoyance. She wonders if Boruto is able to communicate with Momoshiki in some sort of spiritual plane.

Code says that he'll take that as a piece of good fortune. Ada tells Code that he's lucky that Boruto is alive, but she's fed up with how he took things too far, and used her brother without her permission.

Code says he didn't really have any option, and Ada tells him that his job is to bring Kawaki to her. In return, she says she will help him retain his true power and aid his own goals. Ada says that he's still useless to them right now, and if he's still useless even after he gains his strength, she and Daemon will have no qualms about "disposing of him".

Daemon is still riding on Code's back, and Code says that it's sad that they're not even comrades. Ada says that's business, and that if he doesn't produce results, he'll even lose this sad relationship.

Code reminds her that he already took measures. It turns out that he put a Claw Mark in Shikimaru's nape, and Code brings out his ear on it as Shikimaru is entering a code in the panel to open a door.

Shikimaru enters the lab where Amado is, and he asks the scientist about Boruto's condition. Amado says that it's now 100% impossible for Momoshiki to resurrect himself, then Shikimaru grabs the back of Amado's clothing, looking angry, and asks him about Kawaki's Karma.

In another scene, Sarada is touching Boruto's new scar, and Boruto says he's fine. Mitsuki asks Boruto why Code tried to kill him when he intends to feed him to the Ten Tails. Then Boruto remembers Shikimaru telling him not to tell anyone that Kawaki killed him. Boruto answers unsurely, saying that Code probably couldn't control himself.

Sarada tells Boruto that he needs to be extra careful from now on, and Sasuke shows up, telling him that Sarada is right. Sasuke tells Boruto not to go anywhere alone, even if he's in the village, and the trio of young ninjas are glad to see him.

Sasuke explains that now that now that Kawaki is powerful enough to challenge Code, Code will stop at nothing to get his Limiters removed, which would make Amado his next target.

Back to Amado and Shikimaru's conversation: Amado reveals that he restored Kawaki's Karma, and Shikimaru asks why he implanted it without Kawaki's consent. Amado says that Kawaki loathes Karma yet he desired power enough to protect their Hokage and chase off enemies. Amado explains that Kawaki himself chose this path because in order for the Karma to manifest, his intent was absolutely essential.

Shikimaru angrily tells Amado that he's dodging his question, and what he did was not for Konoha or Kawaki's benefit. Still grabbing Amado, a shadowy figure emerges from Shikimaru, and Code surprisingly appears in the ceiling.

Ada calls Code a fool for interrupting Amado and Shikimaru's conversation, then Code attacks Shikimaru with his claw, throwing him against the wall.

Amado looks worried, calling Shikimaru's name, then Code suddenly chokes Amado, and Code commands him to remove his Limiters or else he will get hurt.

Amado says that he can't believe that Code just stormed inside Konoha, warning him that he would be sensed right away, and that an army of shinobi will soon arrive.

Code tells Amado that he would only need to look into his eyes and say the command to remove his Limiters, and Amado wonders how he knows.

From the headquarters, Ino alarmingly senses trouble, and Shikimaru communicates with her via telepathy, telling her that Code is in front of him. Ino says that they will send reinforcements.

Shikimaru says to just inform Naruto and the others because he doesn't want to provoke Code into running off, and that he will handle it. He uses his Shadow Possession Jutsu to paralyze Code, but the villain tells him that his technique is useless, and that he could still use his fingertips to slash Amado's carotid artery open.

Shikimaru tells Code that he thought he wouldn't notice the Claw Mark on his back, and that he'd fall for such a transparent trap. A coffin appears and Shikimaru says it's showtime, "Wake up, Bronco!"

A cyborg who has Delta's appearance appears, and Shikimaru says that she's a new model reprogrammed to be a battle asset that protects Konoha. Shikimaru commands her to target Code, and she says that she already knows, and to "Shaddup already".

Shikimaru's plan to trap Code catches the villain off guard. As the new cyborg attacks Code, the villain releases Amado. As the Delta-like cyborg tells Code that she'll spare him her destructive beams since they'll wreak too much havoc in this enclosed space.

Shikimaru is worried that Code's hand went inside the Claw Mark, and he tells him that he won't let him escape, but Code says that he's doing the opposite. He opens the Claw Mark to dramatically bring Ada out. Amado and Shikimaru look surprised. The chapter ends with another look at Ada frowning while Amado is shocked to see her.

The next chapter will most likely show Ada making moves against Konoha's new cyborg. The Kara organization might end up kidnapping Amado so Code can force him to remove his Limiters. It's likely that we will see Kawaki wake up soon.
