Though there’s still no second season in sight, fans in Japan will get another treat as Bocchi the Rock! announced a karaoke collab with Karaoke no Tetsujin aka Karatez.
This new collaboration was revealed on the Karatez website and shared on the Bocchi the Rock! Twitter account.
While not a lot of details have been revealed so far, the announcement did come with a new visual of the Kessoku Band.
A karaoke collab may not be what fans expected, but it’s far from the first unexpected project as the anime has continued to get more new merch and events.
Bocchi the Rock! Shows No Signs of Slowing Down With Collabs and Projects
Bocchi the Rock! may have finished its first season back in December 2022, but it has continued to have a large and passionate fanbase.
Thanks to the show’s enduring popularity, lots of collaborations and other projects have been revealed.
For starters, there’s the Bocchi x Family Mart collab which also features a new visual of the four main characters, as well as special goodies for fans.
Along with this, a live concert also took place a few months ago, and there, a compilation anime film was announced that will be screened in selected Japanese cinemas next year.
If that’s not enough, a Bocchi the Rock! stage play is also set to happen this August. And from the looks of it, the play will be an adaptation of the first season’s story.
The play will likely sell out, especially as it will feature live performances from the cast members.

Bocchi the Rock! Karaoke Collab Announced With New Illustrations
Bocchi’s latest collab is with the Japanese karaoke chain Karatez. Even though info about what the collab will feature has not been revealed yet, its announcement did come with a new visual.
Instead of donning maid outfits like in the Family Mart collab, the Karatez event features a visual with the Kessoku Band members wearing different variations of the karaoke chain’s uniform.
Based on this visual, it’s likely that the collab will feature exclusive menu items, possibly with a focus on drinks.
Of course, karaoke won’t be complete without songs, so it’s also possible that the collab will feature the anime’s original songs in the karaoke rooms.
The Bocchi the Rock! x Karatez collab will begin in August 2023. More details about the event will be revealed in the coming weeks.
