BLACKPINK Lisa Breaks Records As Fastest MV By Soloist To Achieve 100 Million Views On Solo Debut Song 'LALISA'

In particular, BLACKPINK's Thai member Lisa has revealed her first solo single album LALISA which immediately dominated domestic and international charts upon its release on September 10, 2021.

The single album LALISA consists of two tracks. The title track of the same name has a music video of its own, then the second track MONEY, which was both written and produced by YG Entertainment's Teddy and some other renowned composers.

Not only did Lisa surpass 700,000 pre-orders for her album within four days of its pre-release online, but the rapper's album LALISA also became the best-selling single album by a Korean female soloist as of writing. Lisa's album pre-order sales surpassed the record made by co-BLACKPINK member Rosé with her debut single album R which was released on March 2021.

As soon as the single album LALISA was released on September 10, 2021, it immediately sold more than 800,000 pre-order copies.

BLACKPINK Lisa has set a new record as the music video for her solo debut track LALISA became the fastest MV by a soloist to achieve 100 million views on YouTube. The music video took only two days (approximately 49 hours and 5 minutes) to hit 100 million views.

As of this article's writing, the music video for Lisa's LALISA has a total of 115,835,553 views. However, YouTube has yet to officially confirm Lisa's record of hitting 100 million views faster than any music video released by a solo artist.

The solo track LALISA has been dominating the iTunes charts in many countries and regions across the world and is continuously breaking record after record.

Lisa also presented her solo debut track LALISA for the first time on the American late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
