Kaiju No. 8 introduces a new power combat suit made out of Kaiju cells and muscle fibers, worn by defense officers like Mina Ashiro. In addition to this, here are some of the best anime girls rocking the latest power combat suits—you wish you had one in your closet.
Astro Note: Mira’s Wido Suit
Have you been watching Astro Note? It is an original anime by Telecom Animation Film that tells Mira Gotokuji’s story in Astro Lodge, a residential house that offers free breakfast from Monday to Friday.
However, Mira is not human, and everyone is unaware of her real identity as the princess of an alien planet. She came to Earth, particularly to Astro Lodge, in the hopes of finding a special key that would make her ascend to the throne.
Her alien/wido suit is a light-colored body suit complete with a helmet that covers her entire face. Her suit also resembles that of space-exploration suits commonly used by aliens or martians.
Go Go Loser Ranger: Pink Keeper’s Uniform
Go Go Loser Ranger introduces the dragon keepers, heroes who wear different-colored uniforms fighting against villains known as Dusters. One of them is the Pink Keeper, whose real name is Sesera Sakurama.
As the Pink Keeper, she acts as the leader of the Pink Battalion, the Rangers’ division that specializes in logistic support.
Unfortunately, her division is considered the second-least useful in the series.
The Pink Keeper’s uniform is composed of the usual skin-tight suit but has a pink color. She also wears a helmet that almost covers her face, except for her mouth. She also wears a cape, similar to that of other anime superheroes.
Of all the dragon keepers, she’s the only one who’s using a wheelchair to support herself.
Chained Soldier: Aoba Wakura’s Skin-Tight Suit
Aoba Wakura wears a unique skin-tight suit in Chained Soldier. She is a humanoid Shuuki, so her black skintight suit top with a white overcoat complements her overall look, making her a standout character.
In Chained Soldier, Aoba Wakura is Yuuki’s missing sister, who was involved in a Mato mishap.
Instead of becoming a member of the Defense Force, she became a humanoid Shuuki with unique abilities. Her hatred for the Defense Force is mainly due to the individuals who experimented on her.
Chained Soldier: Kyouka Uzen’s Military Combat Suit
Kyouka Uzen is the captain of the Anti-Demon Defense Corps’ seventh unit. She is also responsible for overseeing Yuuki Wakura as her personal slave and caretaker for the female members of the seventh unit.
Most of the time, Kyouka Uzen wears her anti-demon defense military uniform, complete with thigh-high boots, ready to take on any kind of shuuki.
She also wears a cap in addition to her unique ear accessories, which make her stand out from the crowd.
TenSura: Shion’s Secretarial Purple Suit
Shion looks like a harmless secretary with her purple suit, but she’s a force to be reckoned with in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Her strength, speed, and combat prowess are stronger than some of Rimuru’s underlings, making her worthy of her position as Rimuru’s bodyguard and secretary.
Don’t let the purple suit fool you at all costs and don’t make her mad by making unnecessary remarks about Rimuru and their abilities or else you’ll be destroyed, just like she did to King Edmaris and his two men.
Gushing Over Magical Girls: Utena Hiiragi’s Villainess Costume
This list would be incomplete without Gushing Over Magical Girls' Utena Hiiragi, who wears a highly unusual villainess costume that reflects her twisted attitude.
Her attire is unlike any other magical girl or villain in the series, as it exposes more skin. Utena was ashamed at first, but by the end of the series, she had grown to accept it.
In other words, Utena owned her villainess suit while punishing both the Tres Magia and the founding members of Enormita.
Ninja Kamui: Emma’s Gusoku Gear
In Ninja Kamui, Emma was closely involved in the development of Gusoku Gears, a high-powered combat suit designed to work in harmony with all kinds of Ninja techniques.
She owned one of these Gusoku Gears and she was able to overpower Higan when the latter infiltrated AUZA City.
Her Gusoku gear looked feminine, unlike the others, as if it were wearing a samurai hat called a jingasa.
Kaiju No. 8: Kikoru Shinomiya’s Kaiju Combat Suit
Kikoru Shinomiya finally made her anime debut in Kaiju No. 8! She is known as the greatest talent there is, and her abilities and potential as a defense force officer are no joke.
In fact, her skills, according to Soshiro Hoshina, are already equal to those of a platoon leader despite being a trainee, making her an extremely capable and amazing kaiju neutralizer at this point.
In Kaju No. 8, Kikoru Shinomiya wears a light-colored combat suit with a long skirt.
She also wears the combat suit prepared by the Third Division in the early parts of the series, particularly during the recruitment exams and trainings.
