What Is the Astro Note Anime About?

Astro Note follows Takumi, a talented chef, who is fired from his job. His fortunes turn when he manages to score a gig at an old lodge called Astro-sou.

However, he hesitates upon discovering that residency is a requirement for the job. His reservations fade away when he encounters the beautiful caretaker, Mira.

Enchanted by her beauty and warmth, Takumi eagerly takes up the opportunity to work and live alongside her.

As they start working together, their bond strengthens. But Takumi soon learns that Mira is hiding a mysterious secret – she is not of this world.

Astro Note is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The series is directed by Haruki Kasugamori (The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse) and produced by Telecom Animation Film (Ramen Fighter Miki).

Quite early in the series, it is established that there is a spark between Mira and Takumi.

In the first episode, the likeness between the two characters is not underlined but can be felt throughout.

As Astro Note is an original anime without any source material to delve into for further insights into Mira and Takumi’s relationship, it is challenging to predict whether they will end up as a couple.

Having said that, it becomes obvious from the beginning that Takumi is mesmerized the first time he sees Mira and her antics at Astro-sou.

Moreover, when talks were on about having Takumi on board as head chef, the guests at the lodge told him he must take up the job, as Mira is single and he could be her boyfriend.

It was a hilarious scene, and seeing Takumi blush was adorable, but it made it likely that we will get to see them romancing each other at some point in the series.

Thus, Mira and Takumi may very likely end up together as lovers in Astro Note.
