Beastars Final Season Has Been Officially Confirmed with a New Logo

One of the most popular Netflix anime series that released its second run this year is Beastars and in an exciting new announcement, a final season has been officially confirmed by the studio handling the show along with a new logo for its upcoming third installment.

In the announcement of Studio Orange, they happily announced that the final season of Beastars is officially happening and they also released a new logo for the show, “#BEASTARS is getting a new logo! There must be many questions but this is all we can reveal at the time. We hope everyone can join us for the show til the end. Follow us for future updates.”

Beastars is an animated series produced by Studio Orange and it has been topping the charts ever since the inception of the show. Beastars follows a world of modern, civilized, anthropomorphic animals who is culturally divided into two: the carnivores and the herbivores.

The title of becoming a “Beastar” is given to the members of the society, to the animal who has proven their worth through excellence in the pursuit of justice and equality in the community. Each animal given the title of Beastar is one who’s known for giving and emulating great service to the public, notoriety, and talent.

Beastars is a critically acclaimed anime series for the social commentaries put into the context of the show. It’s not the typical anime series with animals as the characters. It received various awards such as New Creator Prize at the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prizes, Best Shōnen Manga at the 42nd annual Kodansha Manga Awards, and New Face Award at the Japan Media Arts Festival Awards. It also received a nomination at the Ursa Major Award in the Best Dramatic Series category.

The anime series is based on a shōnen manga of the same name by Paru Itagaki. It is the first work of Itagaki to get published in the Weekly Shonen Champion. The manga is already finished and as confirmed by Itagaki stating in January last year that the end is in sight, the manga series came to an end in issue no. 45 of the Weekly Shonen Champion after its four-year stint.

After the end of season 2, it was thought that such would be the last outing of Beastars and with this new development, it seems that we will all be seeing Legoshi and the others for another run.

Beastars Season 3 is yet to have a release date.
