Lauren Montgomery will be sitting at the director's chair for Avatar: The Last Airbender with Flying Bark Productions, one of the studios behind Marvel's What If...?, attached to help bring the movie into the big screens.

Those who attended CinemaCon 2023 are blessed with a first look of Avatar: The Last Airbender which will be featuring the characters at an older age, all of them in their 20s to 30s.

Unfortunately, the image has not yet been released to the general public given that CinemaCon is quite exclusive but as per AvatarNews, the image shows Aang, Sokka, Katara, Toph, and Zuko in front of a snowy mountain.

With the ages of the characters, it could be deduced that Avatar: The Last Airbender is situated sometime in between the end of the first Avatar: The Last Airbender and the beginning of The Legend of Korra.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is slated for a theatrical release on October 10, 2025.
