The wife of Anthony Anderson, Alvina, shocked everyone when she filed to end their 22-year marriage in March. In documents, the better half of the Law & Order actor cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
For starters, Alvina and Anthony Anderson, who were high school sweethearts, tied the knot in September 1999. The pair shares two adult children -- Nathan and Kyra.
Following the divorce filing, new reports suggested that Anthony Anderson has turned into a "monster" while shooting the long-running American crime drama. Keep on reading to know more details.
Anthony Anderson Avoids Talking To Castmates Behind Cameras After Divorce Shock?
Globe, in its upcoming April 25, 2022 issue, reported that Anthony Anderson has turned "grouchy and touchy" since Alvina "blindsided" him with divorce papers. An unnamed insider said:
"Things have been very rocky between them for months and unfortunately he brought the baggage to work. He's got a reputation for being a cool guy to work with but that has not been the case since he started shooting the Law & Order reboot earlier this year. There's been a cloud over him -- he's just not been a happy camper. It's made life very uncomfortable for everyone on set."
Sources also told the entertainment news outlet that Anthony Anderson flies into a rage easily and has become standoffish. A tipster claimed:
"He's got a very short fuse. If the shoot runs even an hour over, he'll have a fit. And he's clearly not interested in making friends. He avoids talking to his castmates or anyone else when the cameras aren't rolling. He'll immediately get on his phone and pop in his earbuds to make it clear he's not interested in making small talk."
The informant furthered:
"No one has complained about his work -- he's doing a great job, but people are sick of his grumpy attitude and tantrums when the cameras stop rolling."
Most, if not all, fans are aware that the recent divorce is the second crash of Alvina and Anthony Anderson's marriage. Alvina previously filed for divorce in 2015, but the couple reconciled and she dropped the action.
Of the latest split, the source added:
"Anthony's just not happy, and people around him think it's a shame."
Anthony Anderson has yet to comment on the reports saying that he is making waves backstage after divorce shock. So, avid followers of the Law & Order star should take all these unverified claims with a huge grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
