It cannot be denied that Prince George is among the most popular royal children today. The 8-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton is not only the first great-grandson of Queen Elizabeth but he is also third in the line of succession to the British throne.

Because of his rank in the line of succession and the subsequent expectation that he would one day become the King of the U.K., the birth of Prince George is widely celebrated across the Commonwealth realms. The elder brother of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, at times, joins Prince William and Kate Middleton during royal engagements.

Prince George To Be Guided By Kate Middleton?

New Idea, in its April 18, 2022 issue, reported that Kate Middleton would be guiding Prince George in preparation for his public life as an imminent British monarch to not overshadow his father, Prince William. An unnamed source told the entertainment news outlet:

"As part of William's plans, they want to do a lot more overseas engagements, sometimes as a couple, other times solo, but make them shorter. This was done with George in mind, so he can come along and learn how it all works without him missing too much school."

The magazine claimed plans are secretly underway for Kate Middleton to take Prince George on her next tour. As per reports, it would most likely happen during his school days.

Palace insiders suggested that the arrangement is the "perfect way" for shy Prince George to start learning the royal ropes. Just like the late mother of Prince William, Princess Diana, the focus of Kate Middleton is on early childhood initiatives, which means she often meets youngsters around the age of her first son.

The same tipster claimed:

"It's perfect. George will gain confidence and understanding of what it's like out there for kids his own age from all walks of life, but meeting them with her. That way, William can take on the heavier stuff like mental health and climate change, which he worries would be too great of a burden for a boy so young."

Queen Elizabeth, for her part, is reportedly proud that Prince George is getting stuck into his lifetime of service already. For starters, the British monarch was just two years older than Kate Middleton and Prince William's son when she learned she would rule the monarchy one day.
