Ant-Man Star Claims She’s Worse Than Tom Holland in Keeping MCU Spoilers

Every MCU fan is well aware that the worst possible Marvel cast to tell MCU spoilers to is none other than the Spider-Man actor, Tom Holland. Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk) comes a close second, but overall, Holland is always bound to crack during interviews. However, it seems that recent Cassie Lang actress for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Kathryn Newton, is claiming to have a similar problem during work.

“I’m very gullible.” Newton admitted while talking recently to Digital Spy, “My friends would come up to me and be like, ‘Oh, you told me so-and-so dies.’ And I’m like, ‘Did I? Oh, well… No! Because that didn’t happen in the movie!’ But I’m not very good at keeping a secret. Paul Rudd said I’m a lot like Tom Holland.”

If you’re not up to par, Holland and spoiler-free answers do not work well together in interviews. The actor once mistakenly opened a gift package from Marvel Studios while being live on his Instagram account, accidentally unveiling the poster for Avengers: Infinity War. Well, Marvel learned their lesson and kept tabs on the actor by bringing in other fellow MCU actors to watch over him.

On the other hand, Newton seems to be getting along quite well with her Ant-Man castmates. While some MCU fans continue to be disappointed that the original Cassie actor, Emma Fuhrmann, was replaced by Newton, the new Cassie Lang made her official MCU debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Seeing how Marvel Studios is already in talks of changing their policy to prevent Marvel spoilers, let’s hope Newton doesn’t get in trouble for any accidental spills and leaks on her future MCU projects.

For now, you can watch her as Cassie Lang jumping into the Quantum Realm in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, now showing in theaters worldwide.
