America Chavez Actress Reveals Which MCU Character She Wants to Crossover Next

Alongside the Multiversal leaps of Doctor Strange and Wanda's terrifying development into the villainous Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also placed the spotlight on the latest young hero in the MCU with Xochitl Gomez's America Chavez.

America Chavez plays a very vital role in the Doctor Strange sequel as the character possesses the ability to travel across different universes. Given that, Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch wants to capture and absorb her power to get to her twins in another universe (Earth 838). Luckily, Chavez learned to somehow use her powers on Wanda and brought the villain back to her senses.

Now that Multiverse of Madness has concluded, what fans have constantly thought about is where they would see America Chavez next. Gladly, in a recent interview, Xochitl Gomez shared her personal insights on major MCU characters she wants to crossover next.

America Chavez actress Xochitl Gomez sat down with D23 Inside Podcast and shared who she wants to crossover with following Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

"I mean, I would say Elizabeth and Benedict, but you know, obviously, I already worked with them," Gomez said. "There aren’t many OG Avengers really left, which is kind of sad. I would say Loki, but he hasn't been an Avenger. Thor though, that’d be fun. I really like Chris Hemsworth. He’s just such a funny and fun person, you can definitely see his personality through interviews and stuff. Loki is a little insane, isn’t it?"

The odds of having a Loki and America Chavez crossover appear to be a 50-50 chance at the moment. At one point prior to Multiverse of Madness' release, Loki was one of the characters rumored to join the sequel. Considering both characters' significance in the MCU's Multiversal storyline, the two might actually meet in the future.

While Marvel Studios hasn't yet announced any project that includes America Chavez's return, we can expect her to take part in the Young Avengers roster, which the MCU is evidently crafting.

Nevertheless, Chavez's ability to travel across different universes would certainly be substantial in the future of the MCU. With how the Doctor Strange sequel's conclusion sees Chavez being trained in Kamar-Taj, it’s an obvious foreshadowing that we will see a more driven and less chaotic version of the character in the future of the mega-franchise.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is still showing in theaters worldwide and will premiere on Disney+ on June 22.
