Akutsu Fights Zwei in The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil
In episode 10, Akutsu and Amane encounter an attractive angel named Zwei, who happens to be Amane's older brother.
He exudes a cryptic but deceitful air that Akutsu quickly picks up on thanks to his demonic instincts.
Amane comes with Zwei to have their family moment, leaving a concerned Akutsu behind.
Even though Akutsu knows he needs to keep quiet, he can't help but follow Amane because she has this awkward and reluctant expression on her face.
As it turns out, Akutsu's sentiments are correct, and he learns how badly Zwei abuses Amane.
He watches as Amane kneels before Zwei, with a terrified look on her face. He also hears Zwei belittle Amane, mocking her dignity repeatedly.
Unlike other demons who would flee in that situation, Akutsu jumps before Amane to defend her, revealing his real identity as a demon to Zwei. After all, Akutsu can't take Amane's anguished expression any longer.
Akutsu vs Zwei: Who Wins in The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil?
In the Akutsu vs. Zwei fight, which will unfold in the next episodes of the anime, Akutsu wins against Zwei, despite his rough start.
Previously, Zwei's avatars pinned down Akutsu, which made it difficult for the latter to stand up and help Amane fight for herself.
So, how did Akutsu win despite his inferior abilities? Well, something happened in Akutsu that activated his dormant strength, which Amane and Zwei did not believe was conceivable.
When Akutsu saw Amane's tears, he lost control of himself, as if he had transformed into a cruel and vicious demon that Amane could not recognize.
He also developed black wings, as if he were an angel like Zwei, which surprised Amane.
Zwei was completely incapable of dealing with Akutsu; thus, Amane was forced to intervene.
It even got to the point where Zwei joined forces with Amane to stop Akutsu's rage, but gladly, their strategy to exhaust Akutsu's black wings was successful in calming him down.
Zwei learned a lesson from his fight with Akutsu, and he left them alone in peace for quite some time—until Aine, their older sister, began to move.
