Masatora Akutsu is a devil disguised as a 16-year-old high school student in the series. On his first day, he left a lasting impression in class due to his funny antics.
He was supposed to pretend to be a hopeless student who accidentally shaved his head due to his father’s hair removal cream.
He even thought of having a hobby of exploring pharmacies and liking the word "follicles."
He also shared that his life hasn’t been very good so far, but he was looking forward to making some good memories with his new classmates.
That continued until his professor exposed his disguise, much to everyone’s surprise.
As a devil, Masatora thinks that humans are stupid since they easily fall for his idiotic lies. Still, he came to the human realm on business because the demon world is in danger and his compatriots are all slacking off.
His superior asked him to find a charismatic person who could increase the morale of the demons.
Enter Lily Amane, Masatora’s short and adorable classmate, who also became his seatmate.
Masatora couldn’t take his eyes off of Lily’s sparkling hair, her bored-looking ruby eyes, her small nose, and even her cherry-blossom-colored lips.
Masatora never thought that a human girl like Lily could be so cute and pretty. The sight of her filled Masatora with bittersweet emotions, which made him feel lightheaded.
In Masatora’s eyes, Lily is beautiful and perfect. He even thought that life would be so fulfilling if he had someone like Lily as his girlfriend.
Unfortunately, Lily is not human but an angel in disguise. She is a servant of God and Masatora’s natural enemy.
Not many angels are as talented as Lily, and she was brave enough to fool a devil-like Masatora.
