Ai Hoshino Fanart Take Over the Internet After Oshi no Ko’s Shocking Premiere

The shock may have subsided a bit following the surprising events of the first episode, but now, Ai Hoshino fanart have taken over the internet following Oshi no Ko’s premiere.

While there was some excitement for the show ahead of its release, the premiere blew away everyone’s expectations as the feature-length first episode quickly went viral following its release.

Oshi no Ko’s First Episode Draws Strong Fan Response

Oshi no Ko blew up massively for many reasons, possibly the biggest of which is the first episode’s shocking ending.

While the ending is a huge deal on its own, it helped that the first episode was pretty much a movie, meaning it was able to properly set up the series’ premise and characters.

There are other shows that started with longer episodes, but this anime is an exception even among those because its premiere was essentially three to four episodes long.

This was also done because the Oshi no Ko manga was unique in that it needed 10 chapters before it was able to establish its main premise or hook.

Typically, other manga only need one to three chapters to do the same.

It also helped that the anime had incredible animation, especially when it came to Ai Hoshino and her eyes. The voice actors also got plenty of praise for their performances.

Thanks to the hype for the series, the music video for its opening song Idol by YOASOBI quickly got millions of views. In fact, it now has over 17 million views.

Ai Hoshino Fanart Flood the Internet

Given the incredible reception to the opening episode, it’s no surprise that fans are flooding the internet with lots of Ai Hoshino fanart.

While Ai won’t have much screen time moving forward due to the premiere’s events, it’s fair to say that she will continue to be a major figure in the series for the main characters.

While Ai is no doubt the scene-stealer of the premiere, it’s likely that we’ll see more Oshi no Ko fanart soon but of the other characters such as Ruby, Aqua, and Kana.
