Ahsoka Season 2 isn't confirmed as of writing but it's more than likely given where the finale left us.

The first season was quite slow with a brilliant setup but less action than we had anticipated, with the main villain appearing in the third to last episode.

Not making full use of Ahsoka and Rebels' exciting characters and possible plotlines (not to mention the potential of retconning the controversial sequel trilogy) would feel like a waste.

There are, of course, possible pitfalls if an Ahsoka Season 2 is indeed planned, but we still consider it a real possibility.

Since Ahsoka was dubbed as a "miniseries" to begin with, it's also possible that the Star Wars team plans to continue the story through other shows, rather than an Ahsoka Season 2 as such.

In April 2023, it was also announced that three Star Wars films have been greenlit.

One of them will be directed by Dave Filoni and it's expected to take place in the New Republic era.

Characters from The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka will appear, and their stories may wrap up.

A possible Ahsoka Season 2 could take many possible directions, with Thrawn's return to the galaxy being the most interesting.

There's a whole trilogy by Timothy Zahn focusing on Grand Admiral Thrawn's character and his work to re-establish the Empire.

Zahn's pre-Disney-acquisition work is not canon anymore, but Ahsoka still draws inspiration from it.

No villain can be more iconic than Darth Vader but Thrawn is a different sort of menace, and his intelligence, paired with faultless politeness, makes him scary.

Many plotlines could come out of his return.

Ahsoka Season 2 could also expand on Sabine and Ahsoka's relationship as an apprentice and Jedi master, or feature Hera and Ezra's efforts to fight against Thrawn once again.

Now that Ezra Bridger has returned home, we'd love to see him train Jacen Syndulla as a Jedi.

Ahsoka Season 2 has not been confirmed yet as a second season has not been announced so far.

The Mandalorian -- the only live-action Star Wars show to get several seasons, released its second part very soon, but took over two years to come up with Season 3.

2022's Andor will likely release its second season in 2024.

It all depends on when any further Ahsoka media are confirmed, and how fast the production moves after that.

As it stands, Lucasfilm has yet to announce if Ahsoka has been greenlit for Season 2. Despite that, rumors have been quite persistent that the show is on track to get renewed.

In fact, it was recently reported by reputable X insider @MyTimeToShineH that the production company has ordered a second season.

Fellow insider The Den of Nerds also claims that Lucasfilm is moving Ahsoka Season 2's production location from the MBS Media Campus in Los Angeles to Pinewood Studios in England.

However, some are still skeptical about Lucasfilm giving the show the go-ahead, especially considering Hollywood is still in the midst of the SAG-AFTRA strikes.
