Kristen Wiig Is Wild Cheetah In New Wonder Woman 1984 Image

DC may have yet to release the first official photo of Kristen Wiig's Cheetah in the highly-anticipated Wonder Woman sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, however, it seems like fans have been filling up the hole creating new art pieces depicting the Ghostbusters actress as the DC villain.

Taking to Instagram, a DC fan decided to share a stunning new art piece imagining what Wiig might look like as Wonder Woman 1984's Cheetah. The villain might look more like an actual Cheetah than an anthropomorphized character, but this version of Cheetah still looks pretty cool.

Check it out down here:

For those who aren't familiar with the character, Cheetah was created by William Moulton Marston to serve as one of Wonder Woman's Villian. Wiig's version of the character is based on the iteration by Dr. Barbara Minerva, a British archaeologist who happens to stumble upon an ancient ritual in a lost city, becoming Urzkartaga's Cheetah goddess.

Right now there are very few details about the plot for Wonder Woman 1984, however, reports say that the Wonder Woman sequel is reportedly going to follow Diana Prince's (Gal Gadot) conflict with the Soviet Union and her encounter with Cheetah.

Chris Pine's Steve Trevor is also set to return in Wonder Woman 1984 despite the sacrifice that he made in the original movie. We can't wait to see how the film explains just how Trevor survived the explosion and how he managed to make it to the ‘80s.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set for release on June 4, 2020.
