People have a lot of questions about Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which will serve as a spin-off series following the events in the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. For instance, will the upcoming Disney+ show actually be live-action or will it be animated like its predecessors?
Star Wars: The Bad Batch is the spin-off of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It also serves as a sequel to the show's final season and will follow Clone Force 99, who was introduced in Season 7's first three episodes, on their new missions.
But will The Bad Batch be a live-action series? Although we love the idea of a live-action Clone Wars spin-off, it has been confirmed that The Bad Batch will be an animated show.
We're expecting a lot of characters from The Clone Wars to play major roles in the new Disney+ series. Here are some of the confirmed characters who will be in the upcoming show.
Clone Force 99 Members (Voiced by Dee Bradley Baker)
Clone Sergeant Hunter: He is the leader of The Bad Batch and has enhanced sensory abilities.
Crosshair: He has clear eyesight and remarkable marksmanship that makes him a force to reckon with in long-distance firefights
Wrecker: He is the most muscular of the Bad Batch and is also known for his recklessness
Tech: He has enhanced mental capacity and intelligence so he serves as the brains of the squad
Clone Corporal Echo: Originally part of the 501st Legion, Echo joined the Bad Batch after the Battle of Anaxes in The Clone Wars Season 7
The sizzle reel for The Bad Batch also featured a younger version of The Mandalorian character Fennec Shand. It was also confirmed that Ming-Na Wen will provide the voice of Fennec in the new series.
The Bad Batch release date has not yet been announced. However, it is already expected to premiere on Disney+ later this year. In the meantime, you can watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 on the streaming service.
