The Mandalorian Star Katee Sackhoff Possibly Confirms Bo-Katan Kryze's Season 3 Plans

There is little doubt that fans are already expecting Bo-Katan Kryze to return in The Mandalorian Season 3. After all, the Duchess still has some unfinished business with Din Djarin, who walked away with the Darksaber. But what is Bo-Katan planning in the Star Wars series? Katee Sackhoff may have revealed that her character shouldn't be trusted.

In The Mandalorian Season 2, Bo-Katan made it clear that she is after one very important item. The Darksaber must be returned to Mandalore but the second season concluded with Mando winning the weapon when he defeated Moff Gideon. But don't expect Bo-Katan to sit idly when the Darksaber is within reach.

Sackhoff recently spoke to Polygon during Wintercon and she pointed out that new fans still have a lot to learn about her character.

"For anyone who hasn't seen Clone Wars, Bo-Katan didn't necessarily start out on the right side of things. She thought that she was, but she is not completely good in this story, and she has had some nefarious intentions, potentially, at one point," Sackhoff said.

She then added that Bo-Katan's ambiguity is made clear in The Mandalorian Season 2.

"What I loved about the way that she was portrayed in [The Mandalorian] was that you don't really know what she's thinking, or where she lands, or if you're supposed to like her or trust her," Sackhoff said.

But wait, does that mean that Bo-Katan wasn't being honest when she said she wasn't going to take the Darksaber from Mando? There is little doubt that the character will try to find a way to get her hands on the weapon. With that in mind, we're expecting more action in The Mandalorian Season 3.

Sackhoff played the live-action version of Bo-Katan in two episodes of the second season. However, there is a huge possibility we'll be seeing more of her in Season 3. In addition to that, there are speculations that Bo-Katan will make an appearance in the animated Clone Wars spin-off series The Bad Batch, which premieres on May 4.

The Mandalorian Season 3 has not yet been given an official release date but is set to be released on Disney+ in 2022.
