The Mandalorian Star Katee Sackhoff Teases Bo-Katan Kryze's Return

There is little doubt that fans love the idea that Bo-Katan Kryze is now part of The Mandalorian. But what are the chances that we'll see more of her in Season 3? Katee Sackhoff may have teased that Bo-Katan could return in another Star Wars series.

Sackhoff only played the live-action version of Bo-Katan in two episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2 but fans are expecting the character to have a major role in the third season. After all, she still needs to get the Darksaber back from Din Djarin.

But is it possible that Bo-Katan will actually show up in another Star Wars show? Sackhoff teased on the possibility while talking to Comicbook.com during the Topps WinterCon where she admitted that she is constantly talking about the character with Star Wars: The Clone Wars creator Dave Filoni.

"The one thing that I do know is that one of the best and work things that [Filoni] ever did back in the day was give me his phone number," Sackhoff said with a laugh. "So one of the things I love to do with him is we just text about Bo in general."

Sackhoff also confessed that she wants to learn more about Bo-Katan's story, and it's something that she regularly discusses with Filoni. However, she also admitted that she is still unsure about what will happen to the character.

"I'd love to know how it is she ended up where she's at right now, because of where she started. And I love to talk to him about the missing pieces to where she is now... So I know all that stuff, but I have no idea what's happening," Sackhoff stated.

Although Sackhoff didn't reveal anything about Bo-Katan's future, there are speculations that she is being secretive about another project where the character could play a major role. It was previously reported that Bo-Katan will return to animation and show up in the new Disney+ show Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

The idea of seeing Bo-Katan in The Bad Batch is a welcome one considering that it could reveal what happened to Mandalore after the events in the final season of The Clone Wars. However, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch will premiere on Disney+ on May 4. The Mandalorian Season 3 is set for release in 2022.
