HBO Max Releases New Footage of The Suicide Squad and Mortal Kombat

In its new Same Day Premieres trailer, Warner Bros. Pictures laid out their whole slate for 2021 which features their banner films such as James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, Mortal Kombat, and Godzilla vs. Kong.

Also included in the trailer are some scenes and title clips of Space Jam: A New Legacy, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, King Richard, Reminiscence, Those Who Wish Me Dead, The Little Things, Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom and Jerry: The Movie, In the Heights, Cry Macho, Malignant, The Many Saints of Newark, Dune, and Matrix.

HBO Max released in its Same-Day Premieres trailer footage from highly-anticipated films which will stream on its platform the same day as it will be released in theaters.

With no additional cost to their subscribers, the films will be available for 31 days from the day of their release in the theaters. This means that for one whole month, subscribers of HBO Max will get to enjoy the streaming of these films.

In the preview, James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is complete and suited up with Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Idris Elba’s Bloodsport, John Cena’s Peacemaker, Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flag, Peter Capaldi’s Thinker, and more from the team. Also, in the same day premiere trailer is Mortal Kombat showing its diverse international cast with Jessica McNamee’s Sonya Blade, Joe Taslim’s Sub Zero, Josh Lawson’s Kano, Ludi Lin’s Liu Kang, Mehcad Brooks’ Jax Bridges, Tadanobu Asano’s Raiden, Hiroyuki Sanada’s Scorpion, Chin Han’s Shang Tsung, Sisi Stringer’s Mileena, and Max Huang’s Kung Lao.

With a new trailer arriving in February, Mortal Kombat will be reflecting its global nature with its cast from different fields such as films, television, and martial arts. The film would be produced by James Wan of The Conjuring Universe and Todd Garner of Into the Storm and is scheduled for release on April 16, 2021.
