Marvel fans were devastated when Robert Downey Jr.s' Tony Stark met his tragic fate in Avengers: Endgame, leaving behind his family, his friends, and Tom Holland's Peter Parker. While they won't likely be pairing in a Marvel movie given the circumstances, a YouTube channel named EZRyderX47 found a way to sort of reunite the two back to the future.

The YouTube channel made a deepfake video which inserts the two actors in a scene from Back to the Future, with Holland replacing Michael J. Fox's Marty McFly and Downey replacing Christopher Lloyd's Doc Emmett Brown. The scene shows Marty stranded in 1955. He is stressed out upon the realization that he might be erased in the future because his young mother is infatuated with him. You can check out the video below.

The channel has already made a deepfake video of Holland as Marty McFly in the past, where the character just got sent back to the past and is wandering around. Both Holland and Fox's facial features are very similar to each other which makes the deepfake video look really realistic and believable. On the other hand, although Downey doesn't look like Lloyd, him taking up a role like that would be interesting and fun. Plus, the two make a great pair, just like in Endgame.

That being said, this deepfake video could be the closest to the film getting rebooted. Director Robert Zemeckis previously stated that a remake can't happen until both he and his co-writer are dead. "I mean, to me, [a remake is] outrageous," he added. "Especially since it's a good movie."
