WandaVision Timeline in the MCU Revealed by Actor

The first two episodes of WandaVision was able to set up several questions in the minds of many Marvel fans, without hinting at possible answers. Something is going on that not everyone can quickly understand. WandaVision is a canon in the MCU, but is its timeline in the Marvel Universe?

One of those mysteries is the ever-changing sitcom environment of Westview. The show has not fully offered any clarity as of yet with regards to the actual time or setting of the series. Before the show aired, it was reported that the series is set after the events in Avengers: Endgame. That leaves many questions especially with Vision (Paul Bettany) alive.

Vision was killed in Avengers: Infinity War, yet he is very much one of the main characters in WandaVision. Wanda Maximoff, also known as Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) seemed to be in a good place at the end of Endgame. Nonetheless, the series seems to be hinting at something dark and dangerous lurking within her mind.

Every bit of these details made fans wonder about the exact where the exact WandaVison timeline is happening. Could the series be some sort of a prequel to the current of the MCU which follows Black Widow wherein it took place before Infinity War? Could the series be taking place inside the Soul World which is an effect of the snap?

What is the exact WandaVision Timeline?

Tenoyah Parris who plays the character of Monica Rambeau in the series said that neither of the aforementioned theories is true. She confirmed that the events in the series occurred right after Endgame.

Parris told TVline, "[The series] picks up right after the events of Endgame, and for Monica, it's obviously years later from when we saw her as a girl in Captain Marvel. We get to find out what's been happening with her over those years that we missed, how she's grown and evolved."

Monica Rambeau was a young child in Captain Marvel which was set in the 1990s. Although the actress' character is only known as Geraldine in the series, Marvel confirmed that Parris is the older version of Monica in the show and will eventually show up in Captain Marvel 2.
