HYBE, home to supergroup BTS, finally beat the original Big 3 in the K-pop industry, a new report revealed.

The Father of BTS, Bang Si Hyuk, celebrated a new milestone as his company, HYBE, finally beat K-pop's Big 3 — SM, JYP, and YG Entertainments. As of the writing, the founder ranks ninth among the wealthiest stock owners in South Korea, joining Vice President of Samsung Lee Jae Yong, Kakao's chairman Kim Bum Soo, and Hyundai Motor Company's Jung Mong Gu.

Mnet's TMI News (via AllKpop) first confirmed Si Hyuk's newest milestone. The HYBE's head pushed his stock holdings to $3.3 billion — beating the K-pop's Big 3.

In comparison, SM's Lee Soo Man, JYP's J.Y Park, and YG's Yang Hyun Suk needed to earn six times their current stock holdings and combine them together to reach where Si Hyuk currently stands.

In terms of the top celebrities to have the highest earnings so far this year, HYBE's founder scored first place with Soo Man ($230 million), JY ($180 million), and Hyun Suk ($100 million) came after.

Si Hyuk currently owns 34 percent of the HYBE stocks.

The amount will surely inflate soon as the company recently collaborated with Belift Lab to find the potential members of a new girl group.

In September, the two companies launchedI-LAND 2. It will serve as another idol survival competition show following the initial I-LAND that gave birth to the now-successful boy group, ENHYPEN.

The initial open auditions will take place via video call. The competition is only open for females who can sing, rap, or dance and those who were born between 2000 to 2009. The first round of auditions already took place on September 27 and will continue to run until October 10.

The first group from the first survival show has been unceasingly shaking the industry. For what it's worth, ENHYPEN reached over a million album sales. They will mark their comeback this month with their first full album, DIMENSION: DILEMMA.
