Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Reveals New Cast Members in English-Subbed Trailer

As the anime’s release is just less than a month away, Viz Media shared a new English-subtitled trailer for Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, and it reveals two new popular VAs that have joined the show’s cast.

Previously, it was revealed that Makima VA Tomori Kusunoki voices one of the show’s main characters. Now, a popular VA from One-Punch Man is also joining the series.

Aside from its interesting zombie apocalypse premise, the show is also notable for being based on a manga by Haro Aso of Alice in Borderland fame.

Zom 100 Adds Two New Popular VAs to the Cast

First up, it was announced that Makoto Furukawa will voice the character Kenichiro Ryuuzaki, a muscle-bound man with blond hair that’s also known as Kencho.

Furukawa is a popular VA that many anime fans should be familiar with, especially as he is the voice of Saitama in One-Punch Man.

Along with Saitama, Furukawa is also the voice of Shirogane in Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, as well as Hatsuharu Sohma in Fruits Basket.

The next new voice cast member to join Zom 100 is Minami Takahashi who voices Beatrix Amerhauser, a blond-haired girl from Germany.

Much like Furukawa, Takahashi is also a well-known VA, and she is popular for being the voice of Megumi Tadokoro in Shokugeki no Soma, Quetzalcoatl in Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, and Shia Haulia in Arifureta.

These two VAs join the previously announced voice cast members which are Tomori Kusunoki as Shizuka Mikazuki and Shuichiro Umeda as Akira Tendo.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Gets New English-Subtitled Trailer

While this isn’t the first trailer for the show, this latest one shows off a bit more action and gives fans outside Japan a better idea of what to expect. It also previews the voices of the other characters alongside Akira.

Also previewed in the trailer are the show’s opening and ending songs.

First up, the opening song is titled Song of the Dead by KANA-BOON, the popular Japanese band behind the iconic Naruto OP Silhouette. Meanwhile, the ending song is titled Happiness of the Dead by Shiyui.

Finally, a new key visual for the anime was also shared, featuring a better look at the series’ main cast of characters.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead will be released on July 9. It will be streamed in the US on Hulu and Netflix.
