Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Announces English Dub Cast, Release Date

With the show’s release just a few weeks away, Viz Media finally revealed the Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime’s English dub cast as well as its release date.

While many English dub releases are made after the Japanese language version has ended, that’s not the case with Zom 100, as the English dub will begin airing just one month after the Japanese version’s premiere.

Thanks to this, fans who prefer English dub versions of anime will not have to wait too long for their preferred version.

Zom 100 Reveals English Dub Cast

Over the past few weeks, Viz Media has shared several new promotional materials for the anime. Now, the Zom 100 official English dub cast has been announced.

Much like the Japanese version, the main cast for the English dub features four experienced VAs, which include:

• Zeno Robinson (Zenon Zogratis in Black Clover) as Akira
• Abby Trott (Nezuko in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Shizuka
• Xander Mobus (Toge Inumaki and Todo in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Kencho
• Laura Post (Blizzard in One-Punch Man) as Beatrix

Meanwhile, the Japanese cast is composed of popular VAs such as Makoto Furukawa (Saitama in One-Punch Man), Minami Takahashi (Megumi Tadokoro in Food Wars), Tomori Kusunoki (Makima in Chainsaw Man), and Shuichiro Umeda (Izumi in Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie).

Aside from the anime, Zom 100 is also getting a live-action film adaptation that will be released in early August – just a few days before the English dub’s release.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Gets English Dub Release Date

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is a zombie apocalypse anime by Bug Films that’s based on the manga of the same name by Haro Aso, the creator of the global hit Alice in Borderland series.

Instead of being another serious and scary zombie horror series though, Zom 100 is a more comedic take on the genre as it follows Akira, a burned-out office worker who is happy that he can finally take a day off because of the zombie outbreak.

The Zom 100 anime will premiere on July 9, 2023, and each episode will be streamed on Hulu and Netflix in the US.

Meanwhile, the Zom 100 English dub will be released beginning August 6, 2023.

As for the Zom 100 live-action movie, it will stream exclusively on Netflix beginning August 3, 2023.
