The critics consensus for Zack Snyder's Justice League reads: "Zack Snyder's Justice League lives up to its title with a sprawling cut that expands to fit the director's vision -- and should satisfy the fans who willed it into existence."

Many critics praised the film for its improvement over the 2017 theatrical version of Justice League.

"Watching Snyder's intermittently rewarding epic - if nothing else a spectacle of completed vision - stirred up surprising emotions," Richard Lawson of Vanity Fair wrote. However, the film also received some negative reviews, such as The Hollywood Reporter'sJohn DeFore, who says that Sndyer's Justice Leauge is as "nearly unendurable as a single-sitting experience" and "just as unenjoyable as the original."

Critics got an early screening of the latest DC film ahead of its release this Thursday, so expect more critics to share their reviews once the director's cut is finally released.
