Aquaman and Justice League actress Amber Heard has been at the center of controversy for a number of months now after her personal issues with ex-husband Johnny Depp were made public. Now, the actress has become one of Tinseltown's most despised celebrities but despite that, her career still seems to be doing well with Amber confirmed to return as Mera in Aquaman 2.

A lot of fans have actually been wondering how the relationship is between Heard and her co-workers since the issue blew up and surprisingly enough, Aquaman himself Jason Momoa is reportedly not bothered by the allegations thrown at the Mera actress. In fact, the two actors get along pretty nicely despite all the drama surrounding Heard's personal life.

According to tipster Daniel Richtman's latest Patreon scoop, the actor has no problem working with Amber and he's able to differentiate his co-star's professional career from her private life. Richtman also pointed out that Momoa wants to keep Amber in the franchise and will be ready to back her up should Warner Bros. intervene.

I don't know how DCEU fans, especially Heard's detractors will react to this one but I gotta say, I do admire how Jason is handling the situation and made props to him for being able to distinguish the personal and professional life of his co-star. However, the real question is, will he have some sort of pull with regards to making sure that Amber stays in the DC Extended Universe? I'm guessing now but only time will tell.

Aquaman 2 will hit theaters in 2022.
