Zack Snyder's Green Lantern Actor Breaks Silence Over Deleted Justice League Scene

It has already been confirmed that Green Lantern was supposed to appear in Zack Snyder's Justice League and that the scene was already shot with a new actor. But what does Wayne T. Carr have to say about his only scene being removed from the Snyder Cut? The Stupid Cupid actor has finally spoken up about working with Snyder and missing out on his DC Extended Universe debut.

It has previously reported that Snyder has finally shared more details about the Green Lantern scene they had shot at his own garage. The filmmaker also revealed that John Stewart was supposed to be played by Carr but Warner Bros. ultimately refused to let Snyder use the character in the film.

Carr recently opened up about working with Snyder for Justice League and he admitted to LightCast that it wasn't what he had expected.

"[Snyder] said, 'We're going to shoot it, we'll see what the studio says,'" Carr said. "This is kind of crazy because we shot it in what I'm going to call 'Driveway Studios.'"

Sadly, Carr also shared how Snyder had told him that the scene they had shot will not appear in Justice League. "He called me after he showed it to everyone, I think it was the second time because they had watched it in parts. He was like, 'They're not letting me do this thing,'" Carr said.

It's unfortunate that Green Lantern didn't show up in Zack Snyder's Justice League but the scene was still recycled to introduce a different character. A similar scene at the end of the film featured Martian Manhunter approaching Bruce Wayne and asking to join the Justice League.
