Zack Snyder's Justice League is undoubtedly a successful feat not only for DC but also in the film industry in general. This is why even big names are able to notice the film and pay attention. In fact, an actor is interested to take part in the Snyderverse.
One of the most talked-about details of the movie is the supposed appearance of the Green Lantern. Apparently, the studio had plans for the character which is why they didn't allow Snyder to have the Green Lantern on his version of the Justice League.
Tommy Chong from Cheech and Chong shared a fan art about him in the iconic Green Lantern costume. Chong tweeted with the image of the fan art, with the caption saying, "What do you think @ZackSnyder?" The artwork showed Chong in the Green Lantern costume and a domino mask. However, instead of conjuring various weapons using the ring, he was puffing on a ‘joint' created by the ring.
Chong's take on the Green Lantern was a joke. However, Snyder was serious in having John Stewart, one of the Green Lanterns, in his Justice League cut. He explained that he even filmed the scene but Warner Bros saw what he added and told him to remove it. Snyder said that he wanted to quit if they take it out but felt bad knowing that the fans may not have a movie just because of that one stand he was going to take. The director added that having Martian Manhunter, in the end, was okay and went along with it.
Zack Snyder's Justice League is currently streaming on HBO Max.
