Zack Snyder Wishes He Could Remove Joss Whedon's Justice League Cut From Existence

Zack Snyder is doing everything in his power to make his cut of Justice League live up to the hype and fan expectations and if he had things his way, he'd love nothing more than for Joss Whedon's cut of the 2017 film to be removed from existence. Ouch. Of course, the famed theatrical cut of the DCEU film is considered by many as one of the worst comic book films ever made and even the cast agrees with the verdict.

Zack took to his Vero account to share the progress of the project's post-production. The image he shared features one of the scenes from the climactic part of the film where Superman lifts an entire building to save it from Steppenwolf's destruction. A random fan commented: "Destroy every copy, please. Thanks," seemingly about Whedon's disastrous version of the film.

Snyder later responded by saying: "I understand and of course respect your feelings." He later confirmed that his cut of Justice League will hit HBO Max in March 2021 after previously claiming that the highly-anticipated project will indeed premiere during the first quarter next year. "I just hope I can wipe that version out of existence with what you see in March."

Some fans are still skeptical about the project's outcome and understandably so. However, I have complete faith that Snyder and his team will make true to their promise that this version of the DCEU team-up flick will be an entirely different film and a better one at that. I mean, it's been three long years and now's the perfect time to erase the bitter taste Whedon's cut left in our mouths. I'm hopeful.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is expected to be presented in four different chapters.
