The entire Star Wars franchise was rocked to its very core when fans found out that Disney has decided to rename Boba Fett's iconic ship from Slave I to simply "Boba Fett's Starship". The said name change first came to the attention of fans at the recent LEGO CON 2021 with LEGO Star Wars Lead Designer Michael Lee Stockwell confirming that the House of Mouse was responsible for the original name of Fett's trusty ship being dropped.

Unsurprisingly, fans have voiced out their sentiments regarding the issue and it's pretty safe to say that they are unanimously NOT in favor of the controversial change. Even Boba Fett actor Mark Anthony Austin expressed his disappointment about it on social media. Now, another Star Wars actor is sounding off amid the Slave I fiasco. Daniel Logan, the actor who portrayed the young version of Boba Fett in Attack of the Clones and even voiced the character in Star Wars: The Clone Wars took to social media to take a shot at Disney.

In his recent Instagram story update, Logan shared a Star Wars-related meme that clearly mocks Disney's decision to change the starship's name. Safe to say that he's also against the name change. Check it out here:

Both Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to address the matter but considering the backlash the change has been getting online, it's almost guaranteed that the companies will release an official statement to clear things up. Heck, I wouldn't even be surprised if they disregarded the name change and just revert back to calling Boba Fett's ship Slave I.

Speaking of, The Book of Boba Fett will hit Disney+ in December.
