Aside from the ongoing second season and the upcoming movie, Spy x Family fans have lots to look forward to. Another project that fans should keep an eye out for is the Spy x Family and Street Fighter 6 collab, which has a new trailer that’s made by Wit Studio.
This trailer isn’t just composed of simple, slideshow-like scenes. Instead, it’s a full-blown anime short by one of the studios that is currently working on the series.
Wit Studio Animates Spy x Family and Street Fighter 6 Collab Trailer
Wit Studio has been on a roll recently. Aside from continuing work on Spy x Family Season 2 (alongside CloverWorks), the studio also continues to develop the upcoming Suicide Squad Isekai anime that got a new trailer recently.
Even though the studio is busy with multiple projects, it still managed to deliver an excellent anime short featuring Yor Forger and Chun-Li facing off to promote the upcoming Street Fighter 6 collab.
This new trailer was shared on the game’s official pages as well as the PlayStation YouTube channel. You can check it out here:
The trailer is fairly short at just a bit over a minute, but Wit Studio delivered an excellent sequence that shows the fighting ability of the two stars of the collab.
While the trailer gives fans a nice preview of what to expect in the collab, there are no specific details about it yet except for its January release date.

Spy x Family and Street Fighter Crossover Goes Live in January 2024
This collab was revealed a few months ago with a special visual featuring Yor and Chun-Li. Based on the visual, the collab is an extra promotion for the upcoming Code: White movie.
With the film set to be released later this month in Japan, it should come as no surprise that the Street Fighter 6 crossover will go live on January 9, 2024.
Along with the release date, the video’s description also confirmed that in-game activities will come as part of the collab.
Given the focus on Yor and Chun-Li, fans are hoping that this crossover will bring Thorn Princess as a playable character in the game.
If she doesn’t get added as a new character, having a Yor Forger costume for Chun-Li would be a decent alternative, as well as more Spy x Family-themed outfits for other roster members.
