Yoo Seung Ho is ready to take on new roles under a new agency.

Starting an acting career at a young age must have been challenging for Yoo Seung Ho. The actor notably began his journey when his mother sent a photo of him to an ad agency. He then appeared in a cellphone commercial which opened doors for him in the TV and film industry.

Only a few months since his commercial aired, Yoo Seung Ho landed a role in his first TV drama, Daddy Fish. The then-child actor grew further and became part of more award-winning series and shows.

Through his over two decades of career, he surely collected buzzworthy titles under his belt already. Yoo Seung Ho, so far, appeared in television series including Unforgettable, Master of Study, Warrior Baek Dong Soo, Imaginary Cat, Remember, and Memorist, among others.

Last year, he helmed the hit KBS2 historical drama, Moonshine. Though he is yet to announce a new project, Yoo Seung Ho has already found a new home that will assist him in finding the best projects for him.

Yoo Seung Ho Closes Deal With YG Entertainment

On Tuesday, a source from YG Entertainment revealed that Yoo Seung Ho secured his deal with YG Entertainment after weeks of talks.

“We are happy to work together with actor Yoo Seung Ho who has continued to receive love for his solid acting skills and sincere actions. We will provide full support so that he can promote his abilities to his heart’s content in various fields,” the source said.

The development came after News1 reported on February 21 that Yoo Seung Ho was already considering a contract signing with YG Entertainment. At that time, a source from the label said that both parties were positively discussing the relationship.

Yoo Seung Ho officially became the latest star to join the company. As of press time, YG Entertainment is home to several A-listers, including Kim Hee Ae, Cha Seung Won, Yoo In Na, Jang Hyun Sung, Claudia Kim, Jang Ki Young, Han Seung Yeon, Apink’s Son Naeun, and Lee Soo Hyuk, among others.

Yoo Seung Ho Talks About Hit Series, Moonshine

Before signing with YG Entertainment, Yoo Seung Ho famously starred in the KBS drama, Moonshine. After the drama ended, the actor and the other cast members sat for an interview and shared their favorite scenes.

The 28-year-old (Korean reckoning) actor said that his favorite features his character, Nam Young, having a change of heart toward Kang Ro Seo.

“I think that Nam Young shows that he’s changing through his attitude toward Kang Ro Seo, rather than his words. When he makes decisions, he shows a side of himself that’s different from before. When he and Ro Seo were trapped in the well, he began to change how he thought about Ro Seo and also about himself,” he said.

Yoo Seung Ho bid goodbye to the series on February 22.
