World of Final Fantasy Comparisons Show Equal PS4, PS Vita Performance

Square Enix has released a new video showing off the PS4 and PS Vita versions of World of Final Fantasy.

The clip, which features over three minutes of footage from the game, shows side-by-side the different landscapes and sceneries from both consoles. It's almost surprising to see just how near the performance of the game despite the difference in hardware.

Of course, the PS4 does fare better, if only for better lighting, shadows, and contrasts. A far as details are concerned, the graphics for the PS Vita are not that bad. Perhaps the biggest question would be whether this means a good port for the PS Vita or a rather downscaled approach to the PS4.

World of Final Fantasy features some cute chibi characters, as can be seen in the video above. It also has cross-save support, hours of battles and exploration, and a nice storyline to tie up all the characters and strains in a neat bundle.

As far as decisions on which console to play the game on, it may depend on where exactly you want to play the game. if you plan on enjoying hour at home while exploring World of Final Fantasy, it might be better to stick with the PS4 version.

According to Kotaku, there are still differences when it comes to the basic loading times between the two consoles, with the Vita having an upper hand when it comes to faster battle loading, but slower time when it comes to basic loading times.

World of Final Fantasy will be out on Oct. 25.
