Virtual reality gaming has its ups and downs, and as a new technology, it's still privy to a lot of novelty.
During the holidays, fans can experience what PlayStation is promising to be an iconic experience, PlayStation Blog reported. Since the PlayStation VR is finally launching this week on Oct. 13, the company has showcased a new trailer featuring Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing Mission on VR.
"Among the holiday lineup is one of the most incredible gaming experiences ever conceived—the opportunity to battle against the evil Empire in an X-wing fighter in VR. Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission will give PS VR owners a chance to experience something we've all dreamed about."
Star Wars Battlefront VR promises to redefine your expectations of an immersive experience on the cockpit of an X-wing pilot while on a mission for the Rebellion.
The game is just one of the 25 titles expected to launch this October. The TV spot above is just one of the many in the works. And it's supposedly just a taste of how it will feel like to be transported into the world of Star Wars as if you were really there, gameplay, emotion, and all.
