Street Fighter V Patch Hints New Features & Halloween Costumes

The lack of Arcade Mode may have been one of the biggest letdown for fans in Street Fighter V.

But some data-digging in the latest patch has sent some fans speculating as the possibility of Arcade Mode in the works. According to EventHubs, there is a reference of the mode in the menu.

While this doesn't confirm anything, it is surely a welcome addition, seeing as how Arcade Mode has always been in the franchise for so long. More than this, there are also hints of some Daily Challenges coming to the game, as seen in the code. For now, these are purely speculation, at least until Capcom finalizes them to be future features in the game.

What fans can look forward to this week is the release of new costumes for the roster. This comes in tandem with Halloween, and it will transform some of the fighters into their spookiest best.

Premium Halloween costumes are priced at $3.99 a piece, while the Halloween stage is available for $1.99 or 40K Fight Money. You better make up your mind fast about the costumes, as these will only be available from Oct. 11 to Nov. 29 via the PlayStation and Steam Stores.

Ryu, Cammy, Nash, Necalli, and Vega all have some pretty nice costumes. Street Fighter V is out for the PS4 and PC.
