Earlier this week, a Wonder Woman 1984 clip was released providing a new look at Kristen Wiig's Cheetah and revealing her ultimate goal in the upcoming DCEU movie. While Barbara Minerva's transformation is yet to be revealed in the teasers, costume designer Lindy Hemming talks about designing the character and her journey towards becoming Cheetah that's still shrouded in mystery.

"How you tackle everything doing a superhero film to me, is you investigate the characters as much as you can find," Hemming told ComicBook.com. "The same way the characters are trying to find the character inside this thing, whatever suit it is."

"Patty [Jenkins] is really into all the character work, and so you approach the journey," she added. "I'm not going to talk about what happens to her, but the journey that the character makes is approached through their character."

Hemming says they're looking to build and build all the time so the audiences feel they get to know more about the person Cheetah is turning into instead of "just a transformation into something."

With the trailers focusing a little more on Pedro Pascal's Maxwell Lord, it's clear that the studio is intending to save the epic Cheetah transformation for fans when it comes out in theaters.

Wonder Woman 1984 is set for release on October 2.
