Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest is an isekai anime following the events of the first season.
It centers around the main protagonist, Hajime Nagumo, a weakling synergist turned gold-ranked adventurer, together with his unintentional harem.
It all started when Nagumo and his classmates were transported from the real world to the island of Tortus. The island is home to demons, monsters, and heroes of all classes (warriors, healers, and sorcerers).
Nagumo and his classmates are summoned by the King to protect Tortus from the evil threat.
One day, while they were traversing the Great Orcus Labyrinth as part of the hero training regiment, Nagumo fell from the labyrinth’s 65th level.
Apparently, someone among his classmates betrayed him. Nagumo, feeling betrayed and abandoned, starts eating the lower-level monsters he encounters.
Slowly, Nagumo began to get stronger.
On his journey for retribution, Nagumo discovers Yue, an ancient vampire princess who has been trapped and betrayed for a long time.
They become partners, fall in love with each other, and decide to find a way to go back to the real world.
Although viewers of Arifureta have divided themselves into two groups: those who say that the anime is an utter waste of time (legitimate trash) and those who say that they enjoy the anime so much that they long for another season, the majority still want to see how Arifureta will redeem itself.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest Season 3 has been announced in the advance screening of the anime's newest OVA.
However, the exact date has not yet been announced as of writing.

On the other hand, Arifureta has a prequel spinoff novel entitled Arifureta Zero, a spin-off manga, Arifureta: I Love Isekai, and, of course, the anime adaptation of the main series.
