Star Wars has proven to be successful through the years since the inception of the franchise and it continues to grow as they enter the small screen with shows that fill the void between the films and other series. One of which is The Book of Boba Fett and while it is yet to be out, many are already looking forward to it being on DVD or Blu-Ray. Will it have physical copies and when will it be released if so?
Will The Book of Boba Fett Be on DVD or Blu-Ray and When Will It Be Released?
Boba Fett will return in the Star Wars universe as he will take on the sands of Tatooine with Fennec Shand in making a name for themselves in the notorious underworld of the galaxy as they attempt to take over the territory under Jabba the Hut’s control.
Temuera Morrison will be taking on the role of Boba Fett, the son of Jango Fett and a known bounty hunter across the galaxy far, far away and he would be joined by Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, a well-known elite mercenary and assassin who recently appeared in the animated series of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.
The Book of Boba Fett is a canon show that will be the next release of Star Wars and it will be out on Disney Plus as a spin-off to The Mandalorian. It is set between The Empire Strikes Back and the second season of the aforementioned show.
There is no DVD or Blu-Ray release yet confirmed for The Book of Boba Fett just like that of The Mandalorian and Star Wars: The Bad Batch. There would be seven episodes all in all with a release on a weekly basis.
The show will be produced by John Bartnicki and co-produced by John Hampian; Kathleen Kennedy, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriquez, and Colin Wilson will be the executive producers of the show while Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers.
The Book of Boba Fett will be out on Disney Plus on December 29, 2021 at 3 AM.
