Is The Book of Boba Fett Canon to the Star Wars?
The Book of Boba Fett will be the next release of Star Wars and it will be out on Disney Plus as a spin-off to The Mandalorian. It is set between The Empire Strikes Back and the second season of the aforementioned show. The easy answer to whether it is canon is that it is and it perfectly fills the gap between the abovementioned film and series.
The Book of Boba Fett is a canon show that will be exploring the adventures of Boba Fett and Fennec Shand as they try to make a name for themselves in the notorious underworld of the galaxy as they take over a place that was once part of the control of Jabba the Hut where they would journey from there the Tatooine’s sands.
Temuera Morrison will be taking on the role of Boba Fett, the son of Jango Fett and a known bounty hunter across the galaxy far, far away and he would be joined by Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, a well-known elite mercenary and assassin who recently appeared in the animated series of Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

With seven episodes, the show will be produced by John Bartnicki and co-produced by John Hampian; Kathleen Kennedy, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriquez, and Colin Wilson will be the executive producers of the show while Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck are co-executive producers.
The Book of Boba Fett will be out on Disney Plus on December 29, 2021 at 3 AM.
