Fans can’t help but think BTS’s RM will collaborate with the American rapper Pharrell Williams after the K-pop idol receives a special gift from the international singer-songwriter.
The ARMYs believe they have seen hints that an RM x Pharrell collaboration will soon be in the works. So, will this happen or not?
Pharrel Williams Gifted BTS’s RM
The K-pop star has been known for being an avid fan of the “Happy” hitmaker. He has covered a lot of his songs, and when they met in 2018, the Korean rapper was completely enthralled.
“When I went up to Pharrell, I literally was shaking so much,” he said. “I did a lot of covers to him. I think he’s the sexiest guy on earth. His voice is just so amazing.”

After that, he started to receive personal gifts from Pharrell, which fans see as a hint of their possible collaboration.
Earlier this month, RM revealed he received a sweatshirt from Adidas’ collaboration with Pharrell’s product company, Humanrace.
“RM, ENJOY THE NEWEST COLLECTION OF PHARELL’S HUMANRACE PREMIUM BASICS, MADE FROM SUSTAINABLY FARMED COTTON,” the 49-year-old artist’s letter read.

Hints there will be BTS’s RM, Pharrell Williams Collaboration
In June, Pharrell responded to a fan’s TikTok’s post, hinting at their collaboration. Since then, there have been talks about their potential to work together.
The same month, RM received a gift from Pharrell—a pair of sneakers from the Adidas x Humanrace collection.
The knitted shoes have the word “injong” or race in English on both sides, reportedly costing $220.

In addition, the known gossip Twitter account Deux Moi claimed that Jungkook and RM would collaborate with Pharrell for a new track.
The pop culture curator alleged that they received anonymous tips online about it and shared the news with everyone. However, they asked fans just to take it with a grain of salt as nothing was confirmed yet.
