How Did Amane and Kagaya Meet Each Other?
It all began long before Tanjiro Kamado joined the Demon Slayer Corps and Kagaya met the other Hashiras such as Gyomei, Sanemi, Tengen, and so on.
Lady Amane Ubuyashiki's surname was Himorogi back then. She was born into a family of Shinto priests and was only 17 years old when she met Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who was only 13 at the time.
Amane and Kagaya shared numerous traits. Their attitude, demeanor, disposition, and perspective complement one another.
They are also dedicated to bringing Muzan down and putting an end to his evil intentions.
Despite their tender ages, Amane and Kagaya were arranged to marry.
Even though Amane was four years older than the Demon Slayer Corps' leader, the Shinto priests chose her to be Kagaya's wife.
In actuality, Kagaya was only four years old when he became the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Thus, Amane's family must help him bring a new generation of Ubuyashiki family members to continue the war against Muzan.

Why Did Amane Marry Kagaya?
Lady Amane Himorogi married Kagaya because she wanted to, not because she was forced to.
Kagaya is also not an opportunistic man who wants to force his bride into marriage.
Kagaya agreed to marry Amane if she was willing to look after his health and medical needs. This is Kagaya's lone requirement for the marriage, which Amane gladly accepted.
They eventually married, all the while keeping an eye on the Demon Slayer Corps' operations.
It is critical for an Ubuyashiki to marry young in order to produce an heir who will head the Demon Slayer Corps and defeat Muzan in the years to come.
The cause for this is the curse that affects the Ubuyashiki family, which puts an enormous strain on their bodies.
This curse is caused by Muzan's blood relations with the Ubuyashiki family, and they can't do anything about it until Muzan is slain.
With this, Amane gave birth to quintuplets and survived. She has four daughters and one son.
She loved her family so much that she was willing to undertake purification rites even on snowy days for their sake.
The same can be said for Kagaya, despite the fact that he has a lot on his plate.
They were such a beautiful and regal family, and every pillar respected them despite the fact that they were far more powerful than them.

What Happened to Amane and Kagaya’s Relationship?
Amane and Kagaya had gone through so much together. They have an extremely close relationship, and Amane constantly makes sure that she can care for Kagaya's medical needs.
Amane is not one to panic, but as Kagaya's health began to seriously deteriorate, she couldn't help but accompany her husband to the hereafter.
Kagaya has become Amane's life, and she has freely chosen to die with him.
