Who Is The Voice Actor Of Darth Vader In Obi-Wan Kenobi Series?

It has been two decades since everyone saw Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker and his return as the character in Obi-Wan Kenobi series made the Star Wars fans leap for joy. In Episode 3 of the show, however, when Darth Vader spoke, the voice belonged to someone else. Who is the voice actor of the villain?

The first look of Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi was seen in Episode 2 and in the following run of the series, he finally spoke in a modulated voice. Fans are excited that it is James Earl Jones voicing the character once more, but this time, possibly, with the help of some voice software.

In a previous chat with Total Film, when Hayden Christensen was asked whether James Earl Jones would be voicing Darth Vader once again, he played coy and replied, “no comment.” Episode 3 finally confirms the fact that James Earl Jones, indeed, voices Darth Vader again, even credited for doing so.

James Earl Jones last voiced Darth Vader in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story five years ago but since then, his voice has already changed through the years. Given the actor’s age, at 91 years old, some technology may have helped him pull off voicing the menacing villain once again. For longtime fans of the franchise, hearing him once more is a nice touch.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3 currently streams on Disney Plus.
