There are several newcomers in Fast X, including Alan Ritchson’s Aimes. Aimes is the new head of the Agency following Mr. Nobody’s disappearance. He even emphasizes the fact that he’s in charge and tells Tess not to rely on the fact that she’s Mr. Nobody’s daughter.

With Mr. Nobody nowhere to be found, Dom and his team no longer have strong ties to the Agency as Aimes doesn’t trust them. But is Aimes actually a Fast X villain?

Yes, Aimes is a villain and Dante's secret ally. While Aimes seemingly joins forces with Dom at some point, it's later revealed that he's been working with Dante Reyes all along.

Aimes isn’t very fond of Dom and his team. He doesn’t like the fact that cops like Brian O’Connor and Elena Neves, as well as Agent Luke Hobbs all seem to have broken their oaths after meeting Dominic Toretto.

“If it could be done in a car, they did it. If it violates the laws of God and gravity, they did it twice. But the days where one man behind the wheel of a car can make a difference,” Aimes says in the movie.

Aimes blames Dom and the team for the attack that occurred in Rome. He also believes that Dom's ties to the Agency would put the organization in danger.

He uses God’s Eye to track Dom and his team, but Tess steals it as she’s on Dom’s side. Eventually, Aimes does find Dom and apprehends him.

However, he seemingly starts trusting Dom after the latter saves his life from an attack by Dante and his men. Thus, he helps Dom get to Portugal to save his son.

While Tej, Roman, Ramsey, and Han arrive on a plane to help, their plane is destroyed by Aimes who is revealed to have been working with Dante all along. Dante then tells Dom that Aimes is his right-hand man.

Aimes working for Dante means that he’s betrayed the Agency too. His partnership with Dante began ten years before the events of Fast X.

Thus, it’s likely that Dante and Aimes may have something to do with Mr. Nobody’s disappearance so that Aimes could become the head of the Agency. With Aimes as the Agency’s head, Dante becomes even stronger, and Dom loses his connections to the organization.

If it was Mr. Nobody in charge, Dom and the team could have gotten help from the Agency to defeat Dante. Mr. Nobody has always helped Dom and the team after all.

He saved Han from his crash in Tokyo Drift and helped him fake his death. It was even revealed that he knew Gisele. But with Aimes in charge, Dom can't get help from the Agency like he used to.

However, we don’t know much yet about what Aimes really wants and why he’s working with Dante. We can, however, expect to see Aimes in the Fast X sequel and perhaps know more about his character and what his motives really are.

Additionally, since Fast X may be a trilogy, instead of a two-part finale as initially planned, we can expect to know more about what really happened to Mr. Nobody.
