The Great Pretender anime film is finally streaming now, though it doesn’t follow the main cast from the original anime series. Thus, many are wondering who the new characters in Great Pretender Razbliuto are.
This film is set after the events of the Wit Studio anime series, though it features a new protagonist, albeit one that fans of the original should recognize.
Even though it features a brand-new cast, the show does have some interesting appearances from familiar faces.

Do the Great Pretender Original Characters Return in Razbliuto?
Wit Studio’s Great Pretender anime was released back in 2020 on Netflix, though it has not gotten a new season since. Thus, many were happy when the Razbliuto anime was announced.
Despite following the new protagonist Dorothy, this series does see some returning cast members from the TV anime.
These include Laurent Thierry and Makoto Edamura, though take note that their appearance in this new film is only for a couple of scenes. That’s because they don’t play big roles in the story.
Meet the New Great Pretender Razbliuto Main Character
The film’s story is centered around Dorothy, Laurent's former lover. She was presumed dead, though this new film reveals that she survived and has since taken the alias Xiang Xiang Li while in Taipei.
Despite surviving, Dorothy has lost her memories. Thus, she embarks on a quest to discover her past, all while being chased by a crime syndicate who wants to get back at her after being conned years ago.
Dorothy is no doubt the key character of the movie, though there are also other notable new characters from the show’s Taipei setting.

Who Are the New Characters in Great Pretender Razbliuto?
Helping Dorothy evade her pursuers and find out more about her past is Jay Jiang along with his partner Yang.
Along with these two, the show also has other major characters who all hail from Taipei. The new Great Pretender Razbliuto characters and their respective voice actors include:

- Mariya Ise (Himeno in Chainsaw Man) as Bingyan
- Mitsuaki Kanuka (Mukasa in Terror in Resonance) as Tsai
- Kazuyuki Okitsu (Jonathan Joestar in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) as Lin
- Yasuhiro Mamiya (Crank Zent in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) as Ai Yang
- Yasuyuki Kase (Kankuro in Naruto) as Yiqi Wang
