It's official! Lana Parrilla has been tapped to join the cast of The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2. The reports say that she will be joining the cast in a recurring role.
The Once Upon a Time actress will be playing the role of Lisa Trammell, a chef and community advocate who is struggling to maintain her restaurant after a real estate developer threatens her surrounding neighborhood.
Who Is Lana Parrilla?
Lana Parrilla is best known for playing the role of the Evil Queen/Regina Mills in the hit TV series, Once Upon a Time, which ran for 7 seasons on ABC.
She has also starred in other TV shows such as Why Women Kill, Spin City, NYPD Blue, Six Feet Under, 24, Lost, and The Shield.
When it comes to movies, Parrilla has starred in Very Mean Man and The Tax Collector.
What Is The Lincoln Lawyer About?
The Lincoln Lawyer is based on the novels written by Michael Connelly. The show details the redemption story of LA attorney, Mickey Haller (played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), after losing much of what he has to addiction. Through his hard work, hustle, and supporters, Haller regains much of what he lost.
When The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 returns, the show will have a total of 10 episodes. It will be follow the story of the fourth book in the series entitled The Fifth Witness.
When Is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Coming Out On Netflix?
Shortly after The Lincoln Lawyer was confirmed to return for a second season, the show began production shortly. Filming has not started and is scheduled to begin on October 31, 2022 in Los Angeles.
It's possible that filming will last almost six months, which means the show could wrap up filming on March 23, 2023. After that time, it's possible that The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 won't make a return at least until summer 2023.
