All good things must come to an end, but anime fans have a long way to go before they can complete the Mashle series. Now that the Magia Lupus story arc has concluded, here is where you should read the Mashle manga after seeing the anime!

How Much of Mashle Did the Anime Cover?
The Mashle anime covered 39 chapters of the manga series. Not only did it cover the Easton Magic Academy Enrollment Arc (Chapters 1–15), but it also adapted the succeeding Magia Lupus Arc (Chapters 16–39).
We have witnessed the rise of Mash Burnedead as the newest gag shounen protagonist, along with his group of peculiar friends, such as Lemon Irvine, Dot Barrett, Lance Crown, and even Finn Ames.
Moreover, we were also introduced to the prestigious Easton Magic Academy, where Mash Burnedead’s name reigns supreme among magic users.
Despite his inability to utilize magic, Mash was allowed into the magic academy, courtesy of Headmaster Wahlberg.
Eventually, Mash made a name and reputation for himself after getting involved in tricky situations.
We also watched how Mash coped with bullies like Lloyd Cavill and Claude Lucci. These bullies thought they could bring Mash down, but they eventually learned their lesson.
Picking on Mash is awful, and it's far better to be on his good side, as Finn Ames, Lemon Irvine, and Lance Crown did.
After all, it's much better to eat goblin cream puffs with Mash than to fight him in a one-on-one match.
We also watched Mash try his best at playing Duelo, which is an anime version of Harry Potter’s Quidditch.
But most importantly, we witnessed how Mash would do anything to return to his former peaceful and easy-going life with his adoptive parent, Regro Burnedead.
On the contrary, Mash was successful in defeating the Magia Lupus covert group, led by Abel Walker of the Lang Dorm. He easily defeated Abel while also saving Lemon and his comrades.
Mash also gained new allies and was able to retrieve their stolen coins. But Mash also learned about Innocent Zero, as told by the devious Cell War.
In case you missed it, Innocent Zero is a devious dark magic organization working in the shadows of society.
They are engaged in smuggling magical creatures, drugs, human trafficking, and even murder!

Where to Start Reading the Mashle Manga After the Anime
After the anime, viewers can start reading the Mashle manga in Chapter 40. This chapter also marks the beginning of a new story arc, following the conclusion of the Magia Lupus Arc in Chapter 39.
Mash Burnedead's secret was finally revealed to the public following the defeat of Abel Walker and the Magia Lupus. One of the students freed from Abel's puppet magic witnessed Mash do the prohibited.
He recognized Mash's inability to wield magic and relied on his greater physical abilities to defeat Abel.
This is forbidden at Easton Magic Academy, so Mash will be subjected to an in-depth investigation by the council and the Divine Visionaries.
What will Headmaster Wahlberg do to ensure Mash Burnedead's safety? The headmaster wants Mash to overhaul the system, but now that his secret has been revealed, all will be for naught!
So far, the Mashle manga has released six story arcs: the Easton Enrollment Arc, the Magia Lupus Arc, the Execution Arc, the Divine Visionary Selection Exam Arc, the Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, and the Eclipse Arc.
If you can't wait for Mashle Season 2, you can always read the manga. It is best to begin from Chapter 40, as the anime adaptation is faithful to the Mashle manga.
Because there are over 150 chapters released as of writing, it will take a long time to catch up to the most recent chapter of Mashle.
